Electric Bass Tablature Notebook: Tablature Music Composition Workbook for 4 String Instruments

Looking for a clear and easy way to get those music ideas down onto paper before they disappear? This Workbook is exactly what you’re looking for. Specifically created for players of the four string electric bass, this notebook is the greatest tool to aid your creativity.

No need to read music! Tablature is a way of writing music down that requires no formal musical knowledge. Instead of dotted notes upon a stave, you simply have one line per string. Write a number along that line to indicate which fret is used.

For example: let’s say you are playing an open A power chord. That’s an open A string, and the D string and G string fretted at the second fret. You would record this in your Four String Electric Bass Notebook by writing 0 on the line that represents the A string, 2 on the line for the D string, and 2 on the line for the G string. The other strings are not played, therefore they do not get a number. Does it get any simpler?

This works for whatever tuning you use on your four string electric bass. Of course, there’s a box on each page where you can write down the tuning used – yes, we’ve even thought of that – so you can just go ahead, create, and write down your ideas as they flow.

Of course, lined tablature pages can get a bit crowded when it comes to chords. So we’ve included seven chord boxes for you. Again, these are on every single Workbook page.

Learning a new scale? A great tip is to use these boxes to record the shape of any box patterns you use. You can then write down your exercises along the tab lines. THe result? You learn your scales up and down the neck, not just across it.

EVERY page of this Notebook includes:

    • 150 large pages – more than you will find in similar Tablature Notebooks!
    • SEVEN chord boxes for you to write your ideal chords or inversions – also ideal for noting box patterns when learning scales.
    • SEVEN lines of tablature
    • Sufficient space for notes, annotations or lyrics
    • Space to state any alternative tuning used
    • Made by musicians, for musicians
